Experience Louisiana’s holiday bonfire tradition with Gray Line!
The small communities just upriver from New Orleans hold a unique Christmas Eve tradition of lighting towering levee bonfires to guide Papa Noel. Gray Line invites you to join the Cajun Holiday Bonfire Celebration with Dinner, an exclusive evening at historic Felicity Plantation bringing locals and visitors together.
Departing by motor coach from the Gray Line Lighthouse at 4:00 p.m., your evening begins with a candlelit tour of Felicity Plantation, featuring lantern lit pathways, historic grounds, traditional storytelling, and holiday carols. Afterward, enjoy a classic Louisiana dinner of gumbo, fried fish, potato salad, French bread, and bread pudding in the plantation hallway, with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and a cash bar for beer and wine.
The highlight of the night is gathering around a private, roaring bonfire on the plantation grounds. Experience the warmth and magic of the season while discovering the rich cultural heritage behind this unforgettable riverfront tradition.
Dinner Menu: Gumbo, potato salad, fried fish, French bread, and bread pudding. Served with iced tea, lemonade, and water. (Cash bar available for beer and wine purchases).
